Netherlands Atresia Microtia Conference April 18, 2015

The Netherlands Atresia Microtia Conference took place this past April on the 18th in Kerkdriel. Speakers included Dr. Roberson, Dr. Reinisch, Dr. Breugem, and Dr. Hol. Hearing aid companies Medel, Cochlear and Oticon also presented at the conference. Dr. Roberson's former atresia patient and Dr. Reinisch's former microtia patient also spoke. Thanks to conference organizer and Atresia Microtia patient advocate Mandy Den Boer, this conference was a huge success! Mandy's daughter Merel was extremely happy to show conference attendees her 7 month post-op Medpor ear by Dr. Reinisch. The kids and families enjoyed the location of the conference and had fun enjoying the acitivity center. Please see below for photos from the conference. Next year the conference will be held in May.
